Oh not at all friend, just pointing out the that while the B1250 is not superior against quite a few purpose built bikes, as a value package it come pretty close, and while I would like have many bikes (street & enduro) in my garage all with all their different strong points, but in good conscious I could only keep one of each. So I settled on the two bikes with the best overall attributes of all bike in their class and value, the B1250 and the 450X. Im sure there are those that settled on the 650 V-storm also, I know Id love to have one, but not without my B1250.

For what it's worth, I came from a v strom 1000 and I personally think it's a far better bike than the bandit 1250 I have now, loads more character more comfy and surprisingly better handling, it also has far superior headlights, however the brakes on the bandit are much more effective
If I'm not mistaken the V-Strom 1000 is a bigger/heavier bike....can't see how it could "handle" better than the Bandit unless you mean offroad stuff. Isn't the front wheel larger too??
For a big bike the BAndit handles the twisties pretty good, to me it feels lighter than it is.

According to Suzuki's published figures, the V-Strom 1000 is longer, taller & wider (probably only at the handlebars though, hard to think a Vtwin would be wider than a transverse inline 4 of 25% more displacement) than the B1250.  The big V-Strom is 26-35 pounds (11.8-15.9 kg) lighter than the B1250 & B1250ABS though.

Yes, the DL-1000 has a 19" front wheel.  Both of it's tires are narrower than the big Bandit (110/80R19 & 150/70R17 vs 120/70R17 & 180/55R17), so that, along with the wider bars, may make it easier for it to change direction.
