No disrespect intended. I have worked on all my own vehicles and toys since I was 13 now 52, and I think that Haynes makes the worst illustrated and procedural repair manuals I have ever tried to use IMHO.

Its been a few yrs + now since I used a Haynes manual when completly striping my Bandit down, put it back together on a 2K frame. I have it filled with notes from everything from oil chnges ,tire mileagage, valve adj.ect. When I bought the SV1K,the 1st thing I did was to buy a Suzuki service manual. Wow,much better! It has everything you need to know.( although I must admit, I would still need help with some things. Well maybe alot of things)If I ever buy another bike, weather it be Suzuki or something else, I'll get the regular dealers manual.

Yep, best dollar I've ever spent.  I've only had to utilize it a couple of times so far but I believe it is worth it.  When I get home from work tonight, I will try and find who I bought it from.  If I can't find it, maybe we can work out something so I can get you a copy....

In my experience Haynes manuals written in the UK are far superior to the ones written in the USA. Hopefully this one will be written in the UK.
