Biker limbos under deadly trap

A male motorbike rider narrowly escaped serious injury after avoiding a trap set by pranksters.
The driver of the Harley Davidson bike was forced to take emergency action after seeing a metal pole placed at neck height across a bridge.
Kevin Peters, from Bylaugh, braked hard and ducked to go under the steel pole.
The incident took place at 6pm on Sunday, near the B1147 Swanton Morley bridges, near Dereham.
Either end of the pole was put on the brick walls of the hump-backed bridge.
PC Kevin Cross, who is investigating the incident, said Mr Peters could have been very seriously hurt.
"It is only because he knows the area and knows there are often people playing round there in the summer that he went round slowly and had time to brake," he said.
"If it had been another biker or even someone in a car who knows what would have happened.
"Not only was this a very foolish act, it was also potentially fatal.
"We would urge anyone with knowledge of the culprits to contact us immediately."
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Cross at Dereham police station via 0845 456 4567.
If they catch the buggers, I have some suggestions of what they can do with that pole!
