I am the same way, I normally wait till the weekend before Christmas before purchasing any gifts.  I guess, I put it off as long as I can hoping that I will come up with more money, but that hardly ever happens.

Lol when you leave it that all that happens is there's nothing left in the shops, but town is absolutely packed with shoppers and becomes the biggest ordeal of the year. Even more so!

I've got that one beat, I send my kids to shop for Mums presents, and while they're at it they get her  something from me.

No thanks... I'll keep my method. I don't want the kids to move back in.
I'll glady suffer thru the occasional shopping (Christmas, birthday, anniversary) if they stay in their own places.

:beers:

There's a lady I know who is in a wheel chair and still 'rides'.

Ok well maybe rides a bike is not descriptive enough.

She's got on old Z1 with a side car arrangement on it.  All the controls have been moved to the side car.  She simply wheels herself into the side car, straps the wheel chair in and 'rides' away.  It's not pretty engineering by any stretch of the imagination, but it's effective.  I'll see if I can track down a picture.

It's quite disturbing the first time you see her coming towards you because there's a bike and sidecar coming towards you, but there's no one on the bike.
