I just had to create a muffler donut out of silicone, stupid me waits till now to check out an exhaust leak thats been there since I bought it. Pulled the can and there wasn't even any remains of a donut. It's too late to get one in before I leave for willville wednesday so i did what any redneck would do, made a couple thick beads of silicone, let it set up and slapped it together. Watch out if you end up behind me there may be flying silicone :duh:

I'm not going to be able to make this rally. I've been working on getting the Bandit ready for the last month, new tires, used givi bags and I had a friend adjust the valves. When my friend adjusted the valves he stripped out one the bolt holes for one of the 8 large head bolts that hold done the valve cover. So, now the bandit has an oil leak and this is a problem that I'm not sure is going to be easy to fix. This Really Sucks. Hope to see you guys sometime.

Banditnek - That is too ironic.  I've been sweating the exact same thing for the last few days.   :duh:   This morning, I found a machinist to put a helicoil in (for a small fortune).  I REALLY didn't think I would make it.  I may not get much sleep between now and then (and my neighbors might not appreciate me synching my carbs in the middle of the night) but I will be there.  Whew!

BTW - I hope the bigger B's don't have the dreaded 7mm valve cover bolt.  NO ONE carries the 7mm Heli Coil.  I have the honor of paying an extra $30 to have one overnighted from the West coast!

Just call me Whitney!

Kev is headed here Wed night.  We're going to get up early Thurs and head to the Meadows.  We should be there early-afternoon, I would guess.

Hate I missed you Rob, I had to left out somewhere between 2-3ish today, damn work.

Pete, gary, lynn (sloper10) brian (roamr), mike and the rest of the ohio boys, Lloyd and his brother, chuck, banditwing and wayne from ontario are all there. Guys I made it home in good time and only hit rain twice.

Everybody have a safe fun time up there! The area is awesome, there is something for everybody's riding style. :beers:
