Does anyone know how the Avon ST46 tires perform in the rain?

They perform exceptionally well. I rode through quite a few torrential downpours last summer and they did not miss a beat. In fact one rain storm in particular their was a river running down the grooves worn in the road from trucks, and the Avon's did not feel bad even once. (I will be buying my 3rd rear tomorrow)

Oh and they make great snow tires.

Not much snow to report here in TN.
Third rear, what kind of mileage are you getting out of the Avon's?
I have been looking at the Dunlop Qualifier, now I am not sure what I want.
