New member not a new Bandit owner:

Here is my '07 B1250 had it about two weeks now and love it! Added the Givi V35 side bags, V460 topcase,  my Valentine1 radar detector, my old Garmin V GPS, sheepskin seat cover from my V-Strom and a Givi windscreen.

I am a former two time Bandit 1200 owner, '99 and a '00 model.

There sure are some beautiful bikes in here! Roy and Phil - how do you like your Givi gear? In retrospect would you have done/purchased anything differently?

Well........

I like the bags. I am glad for the flat black finish due to my feet hitting them on mount/dismount. One thing I would have done different is to contact Craig at Givi "FIRST" due to my dealer not knowing anything about the 2007 Bandit line up with the Givi gear. Once that was organized, after a few returns and such, I got what I wanted.

On the bike, I could only ask for one thing different - a better seat - of which Corbin and Sargent have promised to deliver on in the Spring of 08. My dealer was a bit ignorant on the bike being a new model. My opinion, "know your butt from a hole in the ground" before you try selling it.  :crackattack: They did not know the seat was adjustable let alone how to adjust it or how to check the coolant level. That left my confidence level in the shop at a low bar at the beginning.

I am getting 47MPG on 96 horsepower. I would have really liked it if Suzuki could have gone the extra mile and squeaked out a little bit more and given me 200MPG with 150 horsepower - that would have been nice

Overall - COMPLETELY satisified with everything.....including next year's seat revision.

My LD Ride....

Here's my 2006 2.5G 1200S. The only non-stock items are the Givi screen and (not shown in this pic) Givi engine guards. The guards did the job when I hit the ditch at the end of June and saved the engine cases like they were supposed to. Money well-spent, IMO. I have no intention of doing anything more to #17. She goes plenty fast for me and handles very well for a big bike.....although I will/will be binning both Dungflop tires on the next go-round and putting either Pilot Road 2CT's or BT021's on. I guess I owe it to myself to see what all the fuss is with the 2CT's. They are very popular with a lot of sport-tour guys I know. OTOH, I've always had great service/performance with all the 'Stones I've had over the years, so it'll be a tough call.
Ignorance is curable. Stupidity is terminal.

Hello, Got my Bandit in May and it's an awesome ride. Only mods (to date) are the PowerBronze shield, the Givi's and the rad cover. Plan on fitting a Yosh slip on in the spring. Best bike

My '05:

I've put more miles on it in 3 months than it had in over 2 years (picked it up with 2700 miles in October '07, now has damn near 5000).

I need an exhaust SOON or I'm gonna get bored not being able to hear it.
