What are the shortcomings of your suspension, now?
What would you see as an improvement?
What would allow you to go faster?
For me, having the suspension firmer, meant I could finally learn that the bike was capable of getting around corners faster than I was capable of.
I'm a large person,
, so the stock stuff would dive under braking, and wallow on bumpy stuff.
Once I got a decent rear shock, and Progressive fork springs in, I could start pushing it harder, and really began how to go as fast as I wanted, smoothly, and without drama. I don't ride 'all out', but enjoy a brisk pace where I'm pushing it, without wetting my pants.
