Just replaced my stock rear tire at 2.5k.....:(

I am looking forward to my new Z6

Putting Z6's on my bandit tomorrow. Got something in my rear D205 that is causeing a slow leak so I'm just chunking it and switching to the Metzlers. I'll post my thoughts on them after I put a few miles on.

I toasted my BT-010s at Willeville last weekend, so I'm having a set of Roadtec Z6s put on my Bandit now. Will let you know what I think.

I got about 7K on the rear and about 9K on the front on the 010s. Hope the Z6s get as good mileage.

Just replaced the front.......M1 got around 14,000km out of which is more than the OEM Macadam piece of shyte.......how impressed am I with the M1........well I put another M1 on the front, cost $199 including fitting.

The MEZ4 on the rear has around 5000km on it and looks as though I can get another 5000 out of yet.

KT, Im very happy with my Z6 front and back, have done around 1500miles and have no problems with them, good it the turns have not done much wet work but when I did they still stuck to the road.

Like i've said before you can't go wrong with the Met's Z6 there the absolute dogs bollocks.
Wet or dry, hot or cold they stick like s**t to a blanket.

Thats my little ole' opinion anyway

Just got home from putting my Z6's on. If the ride home is any indication of what these tires can do, all I have to say is....WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO! Even though I was taking it easy because they are new, they felt like they were pulling me into the curves. Definately a confidence builder.

I agree Kim. I've got a couple of hundred miles on my Z6s and so far I'm very impressed with them.

Hey Gary! I'm impressed also! I went back out late yesterday afternoon and rode another 15 or 20 miles on 176 between Saluda and Tryon and MAN ! These things stick like glue!

Well the z6s don't handle quite the same after you do this to the rear:

I don't think those metal strands are supposed to act as wear bars...
This was after about 5k with a lot of Interstate riding loaded with gear, plus I think I was a few pounds low on pressure.

I'm actually thought I'd try the Diablo Stradas this time 'round.
I think I actually like them better. I hear Pereli owns Metzler and the Stradas are made of the same compounds as the z6s. They certainly grip. I think I like the profile of the Stradas better. While the z6s let the bike flip into corners due to the more triangular profile, the stradas are more gradual and grip at whatever angle I put the bike at. I think they also make it easier to move back and fouth from different lean angles.
