Anyone have, or tried a Zero Gravity sport touring windscreen on a first gen 1200 Bandit?

Yep, I bought two, one for my B12 and one for my wifes B6, My wife loves it (5'2) I hate it, for me i found myself with a huge increase in wind noise and buffeting about the head. I put the stocker back on and no problem, I probably should of gone for a double bubble instead. Oh BTW I'm (5'9).

I tried a few wind screens on my 05 B12 and all they did was make a poor situation worse from getting wind blast in the chest stock to getting wind blast in the face. When I was about to give up I decided to try a Zero Gravity sport touring windscreen and it was the best as it lifted the wind blast to the top of my head which was OK since the helmet deflected what was left, I was real pleased. The only thing I was concerned about was that it seems a little thin and developed a tiny stress crack in the lower right center. Funny thing is that the tiny stress crack hasten grown at all in a year so I so I am still pleased.

Funny you should say that, as when I first recieved my 2 ST screens, one of them had a chunk taken out of it down at the base.(returned it for a replacement) installed it, hated it, sent it back.

Yes, they are thin. keep a close eye on that stress crack!

A lot of people don’t realize that although brand models are generally the same there are sometimes big differences as a result of the way people ride, their size, their environment, and even the fact that one bike on the assembly line will perform differently then another. My point is that when it comes to fixes and solutions you have to respect what works for you. Except of course highway pegs Eeeeek!

It's funny isn't it - I thought of a touring screen, but decided not too for much the same reasons you guys seem to have against highway pegs - it looks bloody aweful on a B12.

Yeh, they do look bloody awful, but if I want ride for more than about 45 minutes I'm F**cked witout them. Bad knees are a pisser!
