When I bought my Bandit, my brother busted my balls because the air cleaner covers are chrome!  he says "What is that?...a Harley!!"

I think the only thing I'd want to take off a harley and put on my Bandit is my BUTT!! :stickpoke:

To each his own I guess, keep the black side down!

You know guys I will be 50 in next April and you would think that I would be considering highway pegs but the truth is that the only time in my life I wanted them was when I owned a cruiser at age 30 hoping that I would impress some sweet thing (GIRL) on the expressway. But that was a cruiser and although I know some like mayo with their peanut butter sandwiches I cant imagine doing that to my bike, especially since the Bandito rides so well and has such a roomy seat all you have to do is move your ass and stretch your knees apart momentarily and your good for another 100 miles. Don’t butcher the B12...

Testy! :roll:... Maybe one day when my knees give out, I'll get some too!.. personally I find leaning over the tank and putting my feet up on the rear pegs really comfy to relieve any sort of fatigue I might experience on long trips. PLUS, its a lot more aerodynamic.

Unfortunately, I regularly carry a pillion so using the rear pegs is sort of difficult - I like the idea of Highway Pegs for long rides down boring straight roads, but would remove them for everyday/normal use.

I suppose there is another option - don't take long rides down boring straight roads :duh:  :duh:
