Pauly 62; did you try your current cables? Mine worked on a gen I but I didnt like the ninety degree on one so I switched to cables from a gen 2 600. they were perfect on gsf1200s 98.  Hope you get it rockin.  april is rite round corner.  sandy

hey thanks for answering. the problem is the stock cables are at least 2 inches too long. i think someone at ape said they would make me a set of custom cables for $70. its just someone somewhere knows and its just a matter of getting them to read the question. i dont remember if i said i had thought of ordering a stock set for the canada gixxer but i have no idea how the length of that cable would work on a bandit. im betting the gixxer had clip-ons for handlebars and would be way short for my bandit. worst case senario is i put it back together with the start and kill maybe mounted on the bar somewhere under the keys. ANYONE WHAT STOCK SUZUKI CABLES FOR STOCK KILL SWITCH AND MIKUNI 38 FLATSLIDES?
be safe all ,
pauly

PAULY;  the bike I used as a doner was a canadian gen 2 six hundred bandit. but I also used the switch controls because cables came out in a diff location than us gen 1 1200 . now I have gone to lower bars. drag style. what a difference it made in keeping front tire down.   You may want to have the bars you intend to use later down the road to get rite length.   sandy
