Another Canuck waiting out the winter. I've got a K1200RS that has turned into a nightmare and the 2 options I'm considering are the FZ1 and the Bandit 12 with the Bandit having the inside line. Just wondering how many other COTU riders there are on this site.

I'm here. Now that its up again and also over at STN(CanBan03) over there.

Thinking about how spring like and beautiful it was this morning driving my car to work I hit a patch of Black Ice and narrowly missed driving into the southbound traffic on Bayview from the Rosedale Valley Road. It will be a little while before the roads are ready here.

Welcome

(and for those of you who don't know COTU stands for Centre of the Universe; aka Toronto)

Got out for my first ride after a long winter last weekend.  Saturday March 26th just rode in the city; Sunday hit the 401 to some country hiways and back.

Still too cold / too much salt on the road for serious riding but it sure was fun to get back in the saddle.

I just picked up an 02/B12 on ebay for 3600 USD. It only has 5500 miles and it was very well kept. I can't put it on the road until I jump through all the hoops with Transport Canada. It's going to be tough over the next few weeks. Monday was nice and I saw a couple of Bandits. We've had nothing but snow and rain since.

Hi from B.C. I bought my 2004 Bandit 12 last summer, put on 10,000k in 1 month, toured down the Oregon coast. Just waiting for the snow to disappear so I can get out there again.

My bike would go for about $7000.

I managed to get about 300 miles under my belt last weekend.

I love this bike.

Another voice from north of the 49th parallel.

Just registered to BB today, bought my new 2004 B12 three weeks ago and loving it.  Living in London Ontario and suffering from a lousy spring thus far.

Sold my Ninja 900 three months after my son was born and now three months after his 18th birthday, I'm back in the saddle and loving it.

Nice to see a sub-sect within this BB for Canadians.

Hope to share stories in the future.

Cheers.

Hey Beck, I live in London too!
Looks like great weather this weekend, with luck I might even get out on my bike! LOL
Been working pretty much 7 days a week so I really need to get stuff done around the house. The next three weekends will be tied up racing at Shannonville so if I don't want any grief (read WIFE) gotta do the chores!

Later guys, BANDIT #305
If tomorrow really is the first day of the rest of my life..........does that mean all the shit I do today don't count?
