You can or should be able to find them at you're local skidoo dealer thats where I've seen them they are too cool. I am not sure how they will work for bikes as they have a mouthpiece in them for breathing in the cold I would think it's removable. Polaris, Artic Cat and Yamaha don't have them to the best of my knowledge.

Ya, one of our local dealers is now carrying the new HJC one. 3 bills. Seems fair. I'll be picking one up in the spring.

The HJC model is the FS-10.  Here's a (less than glowing) REVIEW

I tried one of those HJC FS-10's on in the local bike shop.  IMHO, the location of the lever for the visor is in a very inconvenient place for using it while on the move.

I tried the FS-10 and in addition to the poor location of the lever, I did not like the level of the internal visor (too far above the bridge of the nose).  Same goes for the Schuberth.  An additional drawback to the Schuberth (at least the model I tried on) is that it is the ugliest helmet in existence.

I have a Caberg Justissimo and a Scorpion EXO-1000, both with internal sun visors.  The Caberg is nice, but not too aerodynamic.  I wore it on my first cross-country ride in '05, and by the time I got to Cali, my neck felt like someone drove a spike into it.

The EXO-1000 is a bit heavy, but the aerodynamics are so good that I can't feel the weight while riding.  The internal visors of both the Scorpion and the Caberg helmets are at a great level (lower than the FS-10).  The Scorpion is my everyday helmet, and I also take it on long trips to avoid changing visors when riding through the day and into the evening hours.  (It's great for the PA turnpike tunnels too!)

Another bonus of the Scorpion is that there is plenty of room for headphones/earplugs.  Plus, the visor is nearly impossible to fog.  The clincher though are the inflatable cheek pads.  They are awesome, and sold me on the helmet.  Finally, the price is good too: $300US.

Drawbacks of the Scorpion are that it is noisy (which matters little for me), and the opening is a bit small so my ears get mushed a little when putting it on and taking it off.  All said, the Scorpion is a great helmet, and as I said its my daily-rider helmet.

Oh yeah!!  To the OP, I believe that Scorpions are made in Canada, eh!!

That's OK. Those labels that say Made in Canada or Made in USA? Look on the back. They say made in China.

I believe it was BAZZA who bought one of those visor/shade loaded helmets,..caberg? or something like that?...Anyway, He mentioned that unless you had a perfect size noggin (head shape) with no protruding bumps or odd shapes in the forehead and nose area, these type of helmets can be irritating at best and badly fitted at worst. All cranial features are not created equal it seems.

It was Dante's Dame on STN that got me interested. She loves her Caberg modular. It is most probably the one I'll go after. The fogging up is a problem around here as it's cold and wet alot. But the Caberg doesn't seem to have that problem.

OK. Following up on the helmet thing after a pause. Can't seem to find any stores around here that sell Caberg. And I've decided it just ain't worth it buying one site unseen, mail order. No, I really have to try one on. So, I've got an HJC modular SYMAX and I've always thought it was pretty loud. I can get a SYMAX II  with the flip down visor, modular and best of all, locally. What I've read is that they are a big improvement over the orig. Just wonder if anyone has bought one and what is the noise factor like?

What about those Nolan helmets? Theres the N-102 (I think) modular helmet, with flip down visor (exterior visor).

The price seems right. And they probably are available around here. Having the sun visor on the outside means it is susceptable to scars and scratches which is something that could be avoided with an internal.
