yes, I've waited too long too.  I got an e-mail from this hotel that cliams to be 8 blocks away.

There are also places in Lakeview & Bull Shoals.

http://www.caneislandflyshop.com/index.htm

maybe we can share some rooms.  Most of these places have cabins with extra beds.  When Carig gets the e-mail list we'll work some of this out.

Craig, did you ge my e-mail address?

Before anybody makes reservations elsewhere, let's get this e-mail list going first. (John I did get your e-mail address.) I would like to keep everyone together if at all possible. Especially, with alcohol being consumed after the rides. I will research other facilities just in case. Bull Shoals State Park across the street does have two RVs that stay on their facility for rent.

Brent, I have been through Arkansas a few times and am probably familiar with most of the good roads. My routes are planned around hitting as many great roads as possible while staying under 300 miles.

Ever noticed that they don't make helmets out of bone? There's a reason.

I was suppose to go to school(for my job) in September, but I got bumped off the list.  Right now I stand as a stand-by, so I might be able to make it for the gathering.

Cool! It would be great to have you!

I should be sending out a bulk e-mail in a couple of days. I received 8 e-mails so far. Here's a couple of other options for lodging if it should come to it: http://www.natconet.com/~dogwood/ and http://www.belarco.com/dining.htm. The Dogwood Lodge looks pretty good and is only a little more expensive than the Pinewood Lodge. The Bel' Arco Resort is a little pricier yet, but looks nice and has a restaurant on site.

Was the cancelled room reservation not available?

I updated the above list. There are 2 or 3 maybes on it; everyone else is planning on coming.

I'll talk to Bantana at Road Atlanta this coming weekend.   Since I'm still on 'vacation', and not planning on going back to work until mid-october. I may be able to blast out, but's it's kind of tentative.
I'd probably camp.  Will let you know....

It looks like you have enough lunatics showing up, one more won't matter.....
