Hey folks, So I got the insurance check and most of my new parts have arrived. I got the Hayabusa shock, Thanks again for the help Paul! Now that I have the black tank on the blue frame I'm thinking The motor would look sweet black also. The more I spend the more I think I should have sold the 600 and streetfighter a 1200.
The 1200 will happen soon enough, but it got me thinking, The b12 engine is black:-) Has anyone on here ever put a 1200 engine into a 600 chassis. I think the frames are pretty much the same but the mountings may be different. Since I'd need a new cpu, ignition coils and all that jazz perhaps it's as easy to just get a b12.
Should I just hold out and get b12 or would upgrading the motor be a realistic option down the road? If I went as far as to do that upgrade I'd prolly install a gixer front end also.
I've attached a link to some pics of the work in Progress. I think the black tank and blue frame are pretty sweet! Got a set of blue bolts to replace all the crappy Zuki ones and the rest of the bodywork is out for paint. She looks a bit rough after the accident (car Left turned into me at a green light.. ouch!
) and lying up for a few months some rust got at her:-( Most of it is just surface rust and will polish out. Any thoughts, ideas are encouraged. Thanks folks.
