I went through this a month ago. Woke up early to ride with some buds, everything looked fine, turned key hit the ignition button/switch and nothing.
I procedded to check all fuses, there fine, then battery, even swapped battery out, still nothing. Bump started it, and rode for 30 mins to a buds house, killed it, and nothing. So I guess its not a charging problem.
Onto the relay I took off the plastics, and when removing the yellow wire, it accidently touched the red/ to the battery and tried to start. From then on I just used that wire and started the bike by touching the yellow wire to the battery. during that time I ordered a relay. days later got a new relay, tried it out, and NOPE. Anyhow practically given up, I was debating adding a switch to the partial hotwire under the seat.
Anyhow during chain adjustment yeasterday, my friend noticed a disconnected plug under the clutch cable. Reconnected that and voila, all works.
Check to make sure thats connected, that sure would be an easy fix.
If it ends up being a Relay, I got one extra, because there non-refundable. So if it ends up being a relay PM me..
hopefully this advice heps a little, I don't know much about this(obviously) but I tried my vbest to eliminate the options. I never realised a plug on the oposite end of the ignition had anything todo with it.
