couple of lighting questions...

How do you wire up the license plate light that comes with the eliminator kit?  It only has one red wire and the stock wiring has a two wires.  I wired them up grounded the ground(black) wire to the frame but the license light only comes on when I put the key in the park position.  Is the license light suppose to be on while driving??  Also my tail light has a night time light but it only comes on when the key is in park position.  When I hit the brakes the brake light does light up.  Don't know whats goin on with my lights.  please help thanks

Tail and license lights should come on anytime the headlight is on (on a US bike, that would be whenever the key in in On), as well as the Park position.  Without looking at a schematic, I'm thinking a bad ignition switch, unless there's something else that can control power output to those lamps.

I figured it out... It was the fuse...I'm such a newb lol
