I haven't - but I know someone who has. He put the GSXR cams in at the same time.
Since none of the PNW B12's I ride with have big-bore kits, his was certainly the fastest!
He's since gone on to a Hayabusa... I guess it just wasn't fast enough for him.

Go the extra mile and get the 1246 kit, same price as the 1216 and more power. I use mine as an ever day rider now with no problems.

If you are using the bike as a street bike, go with the Dale Walker 1216 kit. I had that kit before I went with the 1246 kit. The 1216 kit made 145 RWHP with no loss of street ability, the 1246 kit makes 155 RWHP, but will get to hot if you get stuck in traffic.

Seems like the main advantages to the High Compression Kit vs the 1216cc Big Bore Kit are less cost as there's no boring, less heat generated although it sounds like no one is complaining of over heating with the 1216, and it's just a few horsepower down from the big bore kit.

But boy does it looks like the big bore kit gives a nice midrange!

Consider the following graphs made from data taken form the Holeshot website http://www.holeshot.com/old/Bandit/bndt_project_charts.html
Standard Bore & 1216 Kit Results

Dark Blue & Blue represent 1216 HP & Torque and Dark Red & Red represent 11:1 Standard Bore HP & Torque

I like those power curves of the 1216 at about 5k.
Of course these numbers are made with headwork, GSX-R intake cam, jet kit, +5° advancer, and full exhaust.

I too have a bandit with the oil burning issue. I figure if I'm going to have to replace the pistons, might as well give it some performance. I also figured that if I'm gonna do that then I need to let it breathe. So far I've got a full yosh TRS exhaust ready to throw on (just waiting for the exhaust gaskets) which I got on ebay, but nothing else.

Figured the exhaust was a good place to start and I got a decent deal on it...
