Forget the GSR, we are also getting the B-King at last, bit diluted compared to the prototype a couple of years ago but it's a step in the right direction

Yep the water cooled/FI Bandit and B-King were unveiled at the Paris bike show as 07 models and are also on the Suzuki GB site.

We get them them both in the UK, don't know if you deserve them on your side of the pond as you didn't bother with the 06 Bandit

Why wouldn't we deserve them?  Just because half of our market is crotch rockers and the other half crusiers?

Yeah it sucks.

I thought the B-King or GSR was suppose to be the replacement for the bandit?

Will be very interesting bike I think.  The engine cases look very different to the current GSXR...  Maybe a new engine?  Hopefully they tune it as a Bandit should be, lots of low down grunt, and lots of torque everywhere.
And I have ridden the latest GSXR's, the injection is impossible for me to fault around town, hopefully this will be as good!
Can't wait - they should bring it to Oz - to see and ride one!!!
That's impressive,
and I'm not easily impressed.

Look, a blue car!

the Bandit looks like a modern continuation.  So what engine is in it?  Is it a water cooled cylinder on the old Bandit engine?  Is is a sleeved down 'busa, then why the Bking?

More importantly, will we get performance out of that thing?  Is it a hooligan bike or poor man's Beemer?  (I hope it's both).

It's not quite as styled as an FZ-1, but I am hopful it has most of the performance and more all round use.

Hope they make them in RED.

Looks like a KZ1300 engine from the late '70s/early '80s.  Glad to see Suzuki keeping up...

lmario asked me to pick up this magazine:

But for some reason, the local newstand didn't have it. But they did have this one:

So I bought it Friday.

Then when I was out today, I saw Moto-Journal, so I leafed thru it and glanced at the pictures and what I could make out from the article and it doesn't look like it says anything different from Moto-Revue. Near as I can tell - and I'm no French speaker/reader - it's the same bike as the 2006 except for the engine. The 1157 SACS motor has been replaced with a water-cooled 1250. There's no mention (that I can tell) of this engine being derived from any current or past production lump.

Here's a closeup of the 650 version, and it looks the same as the motor shown in the 1250 pics:

And here's a shot of the '07 B1250:

It's no use looking at the magazines Red, you're in France, why aren't you at the Paris Motorcycle Show to see them in the flesh and getting some photos?? :duh:
