Cow sent to prison
20/08/2005

A cow has been thrown in jail in Colombia after it was deemed that it had been responsible for causing an accident.

The hapless bovine beast was walking along a road in Giron, minding its own business, when it was hit by a woman on a motorbike.

While the biker was not badly hurt, the police decided the cow was a danger to the public, and arrested it.

Until the police can find out who owns the cow, they have decided to stick it in custody, keeping it locked in the town's prison.

With irrefutable logic, a police spokesperson reasoned: "If it was a person who caused the accident, he or she would be behind bars, so why not a cow?"

The cow's been a model prisoner, and they'd release it for good behavior.........except they're kind of getting used to the milk.

Disgraceful!

That honest, milk-yielder will come out of prison a changed bovine, I tell ya'!!

Tattoos, cigarettes, a criminal knowledge . . . that cow's now set to live a life of crime.  Sad.

They should eat it now, before it becomes a criminal burden on the state.
Ever noticed that they don't make helmets out of bone? There's a reason.

You'd think they'd paint them striped, like a zebra.  Makes them easier to spot in the corral after they go AWOL.

Ja, ja, ja, Pete, you want a photo for the Pulitzer awards. I believe is better to raise bandit upon the cow.
