bandit + rain = runs like crap

so i had to ride in the rain for a while and while i was riding my bike started running cruddier and cruddier. possibly just some water in the carbs or what? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

first thing i'd check if it was mine, is if the drain holes for the spark plug recesses are not blocked.. if you pour water down them, it should drain out of a hole behind the downpipes. if it does drain out a bit of compressed air should help unblock them

factory box for now, it ran fine after it stopped raining. still the typical gummy feeling from my carbs im sure.

If your filter gets saturated with water, it will affect how the engine runs.  This is something that you see more with a bike with pod filters than the OE airbox, but if you got it soaked hard enough, it could happen.

  Maybe water on your plug wires causing an issue. If it was the carbs it would run bad all the time........

I would have a good look at the air filter. Could be dirty and the additional moisture in the air is causing it to start to restrict air. Easy and cheap place to start.
