Bandits are bargain bikes....they don't cost much to buy new, a good used can be had for <$4k.....you do have to do a do mods on the bike that makes the buy in price a little deceptive. On the other hand, most guys with performance bikes will do the same mods, so perhaps it makes more sense to pay less upfont?
And Bandits are ridden. Not many are garage queens. So you have to put tires on them and keep them maintained. But those miles tell you thet riders like riding them.
I've ridden lots of motorcycles. If you need a good all around bike, or you just own one motorcycle like I do, the Bandit is just a great bike. I am just as much home going to cruiser bars as I am riding with the sportbike crowd. I like the idea that I have more miles on my bike than mostof them, that I can blow away any crusier and keep up and put more miles on mine the sportbikers, I am at home sport touring with the Beemer crowd, and man, I under cut EVERYONE of them for maybe half the price.
