Don't know what's happening with the rest of you all out there, but good ol' El Neno seems to have turned where I live into what Californians strive for. Week after week of constant sun with the temps hitting a high of 23c/73f. perfect riding with minimal bugs. And it's supposed to go on all thru next week and on and on. BC, the new California.

Here in Houston we have had unseasonable mild temperature for the past two weeks.  Its been around 60 F in the mornings with highs in the mid 80's which is almost our winter.

We've got it here in Spokane too. highs in the mid-70's F and lows in the mid-50's F. Sweet all around. We do however have a massive hatch of some little white fly that apparently does nothing but hover over the road waiting for helmet visors to provide them with a glorious death. Needless to say, a bug splattered windscreen is no deterrent for riders around here. Everyone is out in force. Unfortunately, they've been having run-ins with the cagers too. I think we've had 5 or 6 m/c fatalities in the last two weeks.

Yup, and those nasty pine beetles are eating up the rest of BC! The Interior is begining to look like CA.

But from someone who lives in Edmonton, global warming rocks!

haha andrewsw,  yes here in the eastern WA area the aphids had a big hatch and it sucks... afternooon riding with the temp in the high 70's to low 80's is sweet right now. But those damn bugs actually came in my vent holes in my helmit and bounced around for a sec, had to close the vents..lol.  The price you pay for going for a ride right now, but soon the temp is going to get to bloody cold for just a joy ride.

I'll be there in about 4 months.  We should get some Bandit riders in Arizona together next Spring.
