For All You Wanna Be B1250 Owners
« on: May 23, 2007, 09:33:42 AM »
In the Wichita Eagle this morning is an ad for a 2007 B1250, Black with only 145 mile on it for $5,900. I haven't called the person who put the ad in the paper yet because it's a little early still, but I do plan on calling the person about it.

Of course the guys here at work were razzing me about it, since it is about $2,000 less than what I paid. "Yeah, but mine had 1 mile on it when I got it"

Sounds like the seller got in over their head and now they want to bail out. Too much money spent, or too much motorcycle to handle.

That's a heckuve deal for somebody.  :bandit:

It is a good deal, but there's nothing like popping the cherry on a new bike

I finally got her broke in. She has just over 1,000 miles now. No real problems to complain about yet. I did have the instrument cluster come loose on me a couple weeks ago. It just snapped back in place.

I will be coming through your way this friday on our way to Horseshoe Bend, The bike is staying at home on this trip I am sorry to say

It might be. I will look at the paperwork when I get home this evening. We are having thunderstorms here, so the Bandit got a chance to rest in the garage today.

That'd be my guess since Suzuki changed the model year designator system in 2001 from an alphabetic one to a K# one (ie; 2001 = K1, 2002 = K2, and so on), so a 2006 is a K6 and a 2007 is a K7. The "S" in front of the "K" is part of the normal model name, GSF1200S, a naked version wouldn't have the "S".

Plus an additional "A" if you have ABS. So, my bike has the half fairing and is a 2007 model with ABS so it is a GSF1250SAK7.
