You've gotta love the turbo'ed Busa!!!!

I don't know if 499 hp is for real, but it pulls about a 180 mph wheelie!

this was posted before the great bbs crash of aught five.
He must have the arms of of a gorilla to hold on to an unfaired bike at those speeds.
I asked this last time it was posted too, but no one replyed, me and a mate were talking about that clip in the pub, i reckoned that a faired busa wouldnt be able to wheelie at those speeds due to aerodynamics.

also, he passes the camerabike pretty fast, and it's speedo is showing 180 in one of the scenes, meaning he must be doing nearly two ton

I have seen this guy on dvd too i love the way he's pulling a wheelie on the autobhan followed by 2 police cars. :cop:
If i was to be totaly responsable i would say he is a maniac...... But i'm not so there, and he's got some BIG balls too.
If you guys have heard of the file sharing program called Kazzaa you can download some clips of him. 1 of the clips i have seen is him on a snowmobile with the ski's taken off and wheels put on racing past what looks like a townhall and then down the autobhan :duh: mad or what..?

I would hate to bet my life on Suzuki's wind tunnel testing....it might be just as likely to generate lift as it would downforce....Aeronautical engineers?... :?:
2007 Kawasaki KLR650...good fun..

2005 Turbo Hayabusa....pushing 400hp...sometimes a scary ride...

Not an engineer, but the story goes that Suzuki spent considerable time wind tunnel testing the Happy Bus so it could take the fastest bike title. Same story says not only did they experiment with different fairings in the wind tunnel but tried several in downhill coasting tests to get some real life verification from the tunnel studies. At the kind of speeds the Busa and its competitors travel, aerodynamics plays a very important part in how much horsepower it takes to punch a 300 kph hole in the atmosphere... so I tend to believe the story is true.
