HIT AND RUN
« on: November 10, 2005, 04:45:21 PM »
As the title suggests  :rant2:

The phucker bent my Leo vince SBK carbonfiber can.

I was on my way to college and stopped at a juction an this prick in a MG rear ended me into the middle of the road where i nearly got hit by a van and then sped off.

I need a new exhaust, slip-on not a full system and am really pissed off so i want to get the loudest one possible to piss everyone else off.

When you say 'reskin' do you mean the carbon fibre because the whole end can is bent.

Hopefully you got his plates!  Glad you weren't hurt.  I hope you hunt that mother F'r down and punch him in his throat  as hard as you possibly can!  Then get the biggest truck you can find and run over his piece of shit car.  Not to give you any ideas or anything. :stickpoke:

By the way, D&D would be the loudest.

Get a Yoshimura on the 600, best "howler" I've ever heard on a bandit.
Until 4000rpm not that loud, but beyond that point,.......hell breaks loose!

Just get one for a 2001+ B12. I don't believe Yosh lists the B6, but their 2G can comes with a mid-pipe and fits all the B6's.
(The Yosh 1G cans are bolt-ons, not slip-ons, so won't fit a B6 unless you use a 1G B12 OEM mid-pipe.)

I love the Yoshimura RS-3 Race Baffle on my 1200.  However, here in the U.S., the D&D exhaust seems to have the reputation as the LOUDEST.  Not sure if you can get that over the pond.

By the way, how are the laws in the UK regarding exhausts?  I'm curious if the police "look the other way".  Here, they are pretty relaxed about the whole issue.

I couldn't tell you how tightly they enforce it in the UK since I've never even been there, but I do know they have db
standards for aftermarket cans and to be "road legal" such cans have to have a "BSAU" mark of approval.

I'll bet D&D cans don't carry the stamp.
