Doesn't Corbin make a nice, comfy aftermarket seat?  My '02 Bandit has a horrendous saddle after 2+ hours on it.  Upgrade it.

Tsk, tsk...'no' for you perhaps but there are people that have been happy with Corbin seats...I am one of those...I liked it right off the shelf but after I had it custom shaped it was amazing.

I don't know about you, Dread, but I've never known anyone to get rid of a perfectly good motorcycle just because of the seat.

It's one of easiest mods to make, yet Mr. 03 has rejected every suggestion made here. I guess some folks just have very close relations with their butts.

Personally, I plan on sending mine out over the winter so I don't miss good riding weather. Until then, it's not so big a deal as to ruin my enjoyment of the bike. If it gets that bad, I'll just throw a pad on it or something...

Not in this thread.  :stickpoke:

The only complaint I've seen from you here about the B1250 is the seat. You've made a comment or two about how much you want a C14... nothing else about your Bandit, though.

Can you show me where in this thread I haven't been paying attention?

Anyway, good luck with the C14, I hope you enjoy the hell out of it!  :bigok:

Jeez, 03, that's a mighty cheap trick...  :annoy:

Both those statements obviously refer specifically to the seat, when you don't "cherry-pick" them and present them out of context:

for a new COncourse 14. The bandit is just not comfortable, the seat suxs ass and neither my wife or my 12 yr old son can stand riding it with me. I love it when Im by myself but even I cant stand it after 225-250 miles.

???  So change the seat.  ???

please tell me who's making a different seat??? cause as of now I know of no one??? I agree though under 250 miles the bike is great, around town great...but i want something I can two up on better.

Never mind, bud! It's a silly argument! Whatever!

I just hope somebody comes out with a new windscreen for your C14 immediately, or you'll be trading that bike in too...  :stickpoke:

Enjoy!

Jeez. And I thought it was just me! Rode a GS1100 to the Baha about twenty years ago and the seat nearly killed me. But I was younger and survived. Now at 56 I'm good for about 100K on my 06 B12 before I gotta stop. Just went for a 2000K ride with a buddy and he used a cut up car seat bead pad (about $10) on his Beemer seat and it really seemed to work. I'm thinkin of going that route. But I gotta say that this seat is a lot better than those crappy old Gs's I used to own. (750, 850, 1100.) But sellin a bike because of the seat? It just dont figure. You sure the real reason isn't that Howitzer of a can or that ugly silver engine?
Just messin with ya. Don't take me serious.
