Here's some low speed wheelie skill:
Doug Domokus was always one of my favorites!!!
It seemed he could wheelie anything. Back when I was completely hooked on dirt bikes, I used to try to emulate his technique...alas, even with my best attempts at clutch, brake and throttle control, I could never keep the balance point for long...though I could get through a couple of upshifts on a 350 Bultaco Alpina
Don't feel too bad, getting any upshifts is better than I can do! I can get the front up when I have to, like when hitting some whoops or crossing a log or something, or when I get on the gas on the MX bike or powerful enough street bikes it'll come up a couple inches, but actually carrying the front or even just popping your typical squid wheelie is beyond me.
As for Doug Domokos, he was talented for sure and a great showman but he cheated a little bit. His bikes had all kinds of little tricks to make it easier, from a small electric motor that kept the front wheel spinning(that gyro effect is pretty important)and ridiculous low gearing.
