The one thing that I really like about the '06 is the tail section.  It doesn't look nearly as bulky as the previous models.

Congratulations nice looking red. Are you already thinking about a carburetor kit and performance muffler? I am glad I went with Ivan’s  jet kit on my 05. It was so easy required little tuning and has made the bike so smooth throughout the power  curve especially the beginning, no more dead spot only rush.
 :congrats:

Thanks guys, wait til you see the red when they start getting the 07's in the show room, the pictures don't show the depth...Hoping the weather clears up enough on Sunday so I can take it out for a few hours and get the feel of it

Ah, the memories. Enjoy. And speaking of an aftermarket exhaust, I've got my eye on a Yosh oval carbon fiber slipon with a two piece tip that is available in Europe at a ridiculous price. Hoping to see it over here by the spring which is when I want it. If you have a similar desires in mind keep me posted on what you find out.

Very nice looking bike in red. That's the color I want if I get an 07. I really like the front end look also.  :congrats:

The red is MUCH richer than the pictures show, it is just gorgeous when the sun hits it  Also the 07 red bikes come with black frame and fork legs, looks much nicer with the black IMO

Nice.  My local dealer's getting a black one in May.  I told him to order another black one towards the end of the cycle.  If it's still there next winter (I don't buy bikes when the dealership's doing good business . . . I like to hit 'em when they're hungry), its mine!
Ever noticed that they don't make helmets out of bone? There's a reason.

Nice -  :congrats:
Mine is still in the shop waiting for the roads to clear up. The red is really a nice colour, and much better in person, but the blue is pretty rich as well.
Maybe we will meet this summer.  A ride, say Banff to Jasper,or vice versa. Hwy 93 has some nice twisty bits.
