I am strongly thinking about buying a 2007 Bandit, I think that with aftermarket pistons, and a set of good cams, to take advandage of the bigger valves, that this engine should put out 160 RWHP. I will probably wait to see what Dale Walker can do with his.

Yes, but for a few thousand more you can buy a new Busa which would require no mods, weigh less and at least have a somewhat modern chasis.

Of course for the 10,500.00 I was quoted you would get a much more modern 140 hp, FZ-1 (yes, I know it has FI glitches, but what suprises will the new 1250 have in store?)

I think there are much better deals out there, and much better bikes than the new B-1250. I am a little miffed at Suzki by not at least putting a new chasis under the
B-1250.

Yea, but at the dragstrip, everyone has a Busa, or a ZX 12.
