HOLESHOT QUESTION?

It took me a bit to figure out the trick to setting up the sync.  The first try, it ran worse.  I eventually figured it out and now it runs pretty smooth now.

Oh, we tried, about a dozen times to sync that puppy, trying different things, here and there, screws out, screws in, pilots in, pilots out, timing advancer in, out, stock one in, change plugs, mod airbox, change filter, open up check for debris, o-ring checks etc etc etc...no way, no how was that thing gonna run like it should. took everything out, put all stock components in, left 5 shims p/needle, and comp 1 slip-on and she runs real good now, actually, as i said earlier, better and way smoother than she did with the whole modified jet kit in, plus better mileage. PLUS my buddy who helped me will be returning his B12 to the same specs, only with IVANS kit and yosh pipe, he liked the way she ran after all was said and done so much, that hes doing the surgery to his own bike now.

Over, done, and steak dinner eaten. not touching it again, ever. happy with where its at. for all the effort, the extra 10+ hp, just ain't worth it. I'm sure others have had better success than I did, and thats just great, I must be the odd one out, with the odd bandit.

PHil did you have any problems installing your jet kit on your B6?

i've got the holeshot 21" touring on my b6 and it isn't loud at all.  if you crank on it, it'll give you a nice sound, but it is fairly quiet both at around town and highway speeds.

i installed the the stage 1 jet kit with it as well.
