Congratulations, and welcome back!

Sounds like my story... my only daughter just went off to college.  (I have an 8 year old step-daughter too) and I just bought my Bandit 1200 last year after a 13 year absence from motorcycling.

You got a great bike... let the modding begin!

Hi Russell and welcome to the Motley Crew :welcome:

I am in Helensville (NI) and was in the same boat as you a few years back

We are coming your way in Feb/Mar as I am a member of Ulysses and will be going to the AGM in Blenheim - are you aged enough to join?

Hi also to all my mates and other Banditos on the board. Yes I am back again after a long layout with a new and improved hip joint.
Yes finally got rid of the old Gammy one and have a brand new Ceramic replacement which I understand will outlast the rest of the body.
One of the good things about my new insert is that I can now ride sports bikes so will be heading to a few dealerships for test rides this summer

The B12 is rolling along still at 40000km on the clock and now has a Scottoiler (touring model) so no more spraying or rear wheel cleaning.
A new set of Avon Azaros is keeping me safe. I reckon they are better than the Michelins and the Pirellis, but you all now that tyres are a personal thing.
Also fited a set of Givi sidecases for touring. The Chief Chef is thrilled as she can now buy, buy, buy and transport the goodies home

Go well Guys & Dolls
