Congrats, very nice looking bike and a great wife. Since it wouldn’t be polite to ask how much, how many mile on the odometer, if I my be so bold?

I thought my better half was something special not just agreeing to me having a bike but insisting I keep it after I crashed it. Wow, whadda lady you gots there.

By the by, What kind of seat do you have on that? I am in the market for a new one and it looks like the one you have has a nice scoop to it for the passenger.

Thanks,
The Big B

corbin seat, with optional minny sissy, havent had it out very far but seems comfortable on the 10mile virgin 2up ride...

She got a deal, and it has 22k on it, which was more than I was hoping for, but with all the extra mods and with how much i will ride it, I would have had 22k on a 15k bike in a summer at most....

way i figure....

holeshot goodies already mounted....

slipon, $350
timing advance $50
stage 2 complete $300
ft end suspension $100
Rear end suspension(ohlins) idk $500??? not sure I know they are pricey.  But already sprung for 220lb rider and a passenger....

corbin seat.  ??$250-500?? depending on if you find a used one

Higher windshield $50

He also replaced the stock side covers with durable composite covers, stock ones in the box unscratched...

Not having to turn a wrench on the bike.....priceless...

K

PS for christmas i got a new magnetic tankbag from my brothers, and soft saddle bags from the parents....

SO I am ready to roll.....

Yes, i am a HUGE neil young fan....even his current album even though I am a gun-toting, right-wing nut....

Good music transcends political boundaries. Good to have you aboard!

Btw, sounds like you got a good deal letting someone else do all the expensive mods that make the bike even better.

Yeah, I plan on finding another Neil Young Concert this summer, he is sure to be touring somewhere, and I think his time touring may be short, relatively speaking...

Yeah, after the Wife bought the bike, and before I knew she did, I was listing to her all the things that would need to be done to a stock B12 to make it the machine I wanted..... I was mostly worried about the suspension, as I knew the stock b12 suspension was a little weak for 2up.....  I was figuring on finding a mostly stock b12, and having to spend $2k on mods....

Corbin seat was also a great + and also was on list of mods I wanted to do.

She did a good job....especially seeing as this is the only vehicle we have bought that she actually saw before we owned them....We have bought 10+ cars in the last 6-7 years, and she has seen NONE of them before either pickup, or me driving in driveway with it....
