Do you think your Banidt holds value?

Bandits are bargain bikes....they don't cost much to buy new, a good used can be had for <$4k.....you do have to do a do mods on the bike that makes the buy in price a little deceptive. On the other hand, most guys with performance bikes will do the same mods, so perhaps it makes more sense to pay less upfont?

And Bandits are ridden.  Not many are garage queens.  So you have to put tires on them and keep them maintained.  But those miles tell you thet riders like riding them.

I've ridden lots of motorcycles.  If you need a good all around bike, or you just own one motorcycle like I do, the Bandit is just a great bike.  I am just as much home going to cruiser bars as I am riding with the sportbike crowd.  I like the idea that I have more miles on my bike than mostof them, that I can blow away any crusier and keep up and put more miles on mine the sportbikers, I am at home sport touring with the Beemer crowd, and man, I under cut EVERYONE of them for maybe half the price.

What are Bandits worth?

I purchased my 05 Bandit 1200s from a dealer in Santa Ana Calif for 6500 OTD brand new. That was approx. a year and a half ago. I still think I got one hell of a bargan.

What it's worth today I don't know. I do know that my 50 mile commute to work and back each day would cost me a fortune if I was driving my Ford Bronco (351 V8 12mpg highway). The Bronco sits and is used for camping trips and stuff like that and the Bandito gets me to work quickly and cheeply. Not to mention the fun of just riding the thing. And the added benefit of lane splitting (try lane splitting in a Bronco!).

Love my bandit!

$3000 cash for a totally stock, adult owned, garaged B1200s.  It came with good soft bags, tank bag, and a decent spare helmet.

How much value could I lose?

The Bandit is a great deal for the bucks - but they don't hold value worth a sh*t.  They are out there a dime a dozen.

Yep, I'd like to sell mine for a reasonable price as down payment on an ST1300, but no one wants to pay what it's worth, so I just keep it.  It's not a terrible sacrifice, by any means, just annoying.

Hell, I've got an almost mint '96 Audi A6 I'm trying to sell for $1500 under Kelly Blue Book value and it rarely even draws a nibble.  People are stupid!  Great bike and great car and not selling.

Hi

UK dealer web site giving prices:-

http://www.kjmsuperbike.com/Suzuki_Website/model_pages/retro_naked/kjm_suzuki_retro_naked.htm

Think they are parallel imports rather than official imports.

All the best
