This is making it VERY difficult for me to calculate the exact day that Herb will have posted pictures of every motorcycle on the planet.

:duh:

Yo, Paulie!  With all due respect and with much consideration given to both your delicate sensibilities AND your advanced age, I can only respond with ...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

See you tomorrow.  Perhaps then you will enlighten me as to what would be acceptable to post and talk about at that time.  I mean, other than 'Busa shocks and renthal bars, which I'm leaving to Red and his new best friends from now on.

Pretty typical that 'the finger' is the only thing you can respond with Herb... given the fact that you can't do much here but post pics of every motorcycle you see.  I don't think I've seen anyone less happy with his present bike than you.  It seems  to me that you wouldn't be happy with a kingdom made of motorcycles, Herb.

Seems pretty lame to me.... but hey... to each his own.   If you and Jim are so lonely and find some odd sort of synchronicity from your mutual  need to ramble incessantly about nonsense... I'll just try to make a point to leave you two alone.  Perhaps you need another hobby.... something you actually get satisfaction from?

Just my $.02 worth.

EDIT:  By the way... I think it's pretty safe to say we all know what a used SV1000 looks like.  I could be wrong.

Is all THAT enlightening enough for you?   :stickpoke:

That is one sweet looking bike, Des.  I like the engine spoiler - would be cool to see that on my 650.

Funny I just saw a bike with the very same tailights (I'm not used to seeing just the tailights!)

What the heck is wrong with a guy posting pics of a bike?  He could do five a day and that would be cool.  I get a kick out of looking....

Are you on your period or what?  You've never heard of posting motorcycle pics on a motorcycle site?  Please, make a list of acceptable topics, pics, jokes, issues, etc., that we may post here.  Oh, and while you're at it, try getting a sense of humor!  Make darn sure you watch what you post, just in case it's something I might find lame.

Take a pill and have a beer, man.

Wow, Paul, and people think *I* get boilin' at times!

Whether it's DA's bike pix, or Jim's general silliness, the days when I check this board and there's nothing but one pitiful post about some repair needed to a B400 are dull.  Yeah, sometimes we go too far and the noise overwhelms the content, but there's no more value in situations when someone posts a repair question and they get a response like "Why didn't you read the past 10,000 posts on that?  Why don't you buy a manual?"  Hell, if reading all the old posts is the answer, then get a better search interface!

So, there, my honest opinion is that I like the bike pix, and I like a certain level of horseplay.

I yield the soapbox to someone else now...

I had one of my deep-rooted canine teeth removed yesterday morning - and by the time last I posted that last night I was pissed off, in a lot of pain, and poppin' too many vicodan.  No excuse for that rant though.

Sorry Herb.  My apologies.

Hey, not the first time I've been misinterpreted when I was trying to kid around.  Guess I'm not good at it anymore.  No harm done, guy.

I hope you're feeling better.  Pain sets me off, too.
