We could use a few less Buicks on the road around here anyway.

HEY! ...my Buick never cut you off...

How's it going guys?  I finally made it in and happy to be here.   I have a 03 Bandit 1200 naked that I bought last year.  I currently have a Holeshot high mount with a modified stage 1 jet kit and have also trimmed the tail and changed my turn signals.  There is a pic of my bike on the Holeshot site in the 2001+ high mount pipe.  I also sent him a pic of me doing a nice burnout, but I haven't seen it anywhere yet.

:thanks:   I see on mapquest that your are SE of Dallas.  It says 250 miles according to it.  I would like to meet up with some other Bandit riders.  I met a couple at the Dragon a couple of weeks ago and that turned out to be about 2800 miles of riding over 1 1/2 weeks.

Hey it's good to have another Aussie on board.  Welcome :welcome: and  :beers:

There wouldn't be many corners up your way would there?  Mind you I do like your speed limit.

Hay mick, yeah there arn't to many corners up here  but i mannage to terrorise  the suburbs fairly well  . The bandit 250 doesn't do the speed limit justice as i can only get 150km/h out of her :crybaby:  but i do love our roundabouts and slow points!!!!!!. :beers:

I've actually been lurking for a little while and just got around to making my first coupl'a posts. I suppose I should to the show and tell bit for a sec though..

I currently ride a 2001 Bandit 1200 'K' (naked). The thing is almost entirely stock except a National Cycle F-16 'tour-sheild' and my second set of rubber.

I've been riding since the ripe age of 16. At 16 I took and successfully passed the NH state MC driving exam and inherited a 1978 Honda Hawk CB400. The bike was purchased for my folks to get back into riding and pass the driving test after being out of it for years. The bike had fallen into disrepair and in proper father/son fasion dad and I fixed her up and made her road worthy. I rode this CB400 through college. It was my pride and joy!

At the ripe age of 24 I was a fresh college grad and had just accepted a nice new full-time job as a Software Engineer. They gave me a nice pile of money for moving expenses. As most college grads can relate, I had nothing substantial to move.. nothing that wouldn't fit in my pickup anyhow, so I quickly found myself w/ money to burn and lust for a newer, more powerful bike. That summer I bought my Bandit.

Professionally I make my money as a Software Engineer. My company builds equipment and software for planetariums. Kind of an odd thing but it (usually) pays the bills.

On the side I am an avid amateur photographer. I have a web gallery here. Sadly I don't have many shots of the Bandit.. as I sit here typing this I'm not really sure why that is!

I have lived here in Southern NH for most of my life, except for a short stay in Western NY (Rochester) for school. I am firmly of the opinion that rural New England yeilds some very excellent riding material!

Anyhow, I am looking forward to posting here..

    Meandering Rivers

Of course, the more of the above, the better!  :bigok:

:welcome: Newbies!

An 88 Scirocco?  Fun car!  I almost bought an 87 when I graduated from college in 91.  I don't think that salesman will ever clean the brown stains from his shorts after that test ride.

I poked around your site a bit.  Really nice!  For some reason "Hydrant" really caught my eye.  Great shot.  Apparently, that site doesn't permit hot-linking - I tried to post it here but got the dreaded red x.

Hi gang!! I'm actually and older member that's been away for a while. I used to be B12inBlue but those of you that do Max-Suz know me as buggyho. I ride an 02 B12s that just rolled 50,000 miles coming back from Laguna Seca. My wife rides a 98 Magna. Here's a couple of my baby.
She does it all.

Good friends, good times
