I met someone with a 97 Bandit 1200 today.  One of my co-workers was holding out on me.  He has a neighbor with a bandit and never told me.  Anyways I met him and talk to him for a bit.  I also told him about this site.  I am hoping that he will sign up. :beers:

You wanna sell?  I had a 47 and loved it but it finally fell apart (literally).  I ran a trail and the body broke loose from the frame.  It was kinda rusty.

Na I'd better keep it. I have had it 15 years, couldn't sell her now.  Not to much 46' about her anymore.  Just the Title.  Its set up for 4x4ing.  It gets trailored to the trail, beat,  and back on the trailer.

Just put a flatfender body made out of your favorite material on the CJ5.

My 71 CJ-5 has been in the family since '72 and I learned to drive in it. This Jeep will never be for sale! Took some awesome trips in it with Dad, including a trip down Baja in '73. Dad broke his collar bone in Cabo San Lucas (which was nothing more than a cheap motel on the beach back then) and I had to drive all the way home once he was released from the hospital in La Paz. My Learners Permit expired on my 16th birthday during the trip, so I drove from Cabo to Seattle with no real license.

The XJ's are two '86 models (one is a parts rig, one is a poor, abused, trail rig) and '94 Country (stock).

DAMN I love my Bandit. How she screams tearing it up the road and how she coasts around corners.. ah.. first bike honeymooner.

Yo. Tristen here. First timer on the board and recently bought my first bike.

I have a 97' Bandit 250 and she is a beauty. I'm hoping to learn all I can about bikes and it is a bit of a learning curve for me but I want to be able to work on my Bandit as much as I can in the future.

Bought myself a Shoei TX-R helmet with the Ryu design on it (its mint). And I have Alpinestars jacket and gloves.

Good to find a place to chat to people with the same love for motorcycling and in particular Suzuki Bandits.

Hi all, I just signed up today to ask about alternators.

But, I'm Dave (Hi Dave!). I'm a mechanical engineer near Madison, WI.  I've got a 1997 Bandit 1200S that I bought in 2000 from a fellow who kept it as his European bike, so it's got lots of exotic stickers on the Givi bags that I didn't put there.  It now has 52,000 miles on it and is a little rough around the edges.  But, I'm keeping it up, and have a few projects in mind for this winter, including a fuel cell and auxiliary lights (Hella FF50s).

I'll be riding most of the winter, though I'm being a bit cautious about deer around here.  Perhaps I'll see you around.

Dave
