Hi guys! I started riding a Suzuki GS500E in late October of 2004, and found by spring that I needed a bigger bike, so I moved to a used 2001 Bandit GSF600S in July of 2005. The previous owner put on the following mods:

Windscreen is Zero Gravity
Metisse lower fairing kit and colour matched paint job
Dale Walker Hole Shot Exhaust
"Carbon Fibre" plastic chain guard
SWMotec quick release luggage racks

I changed from Bridgestone Battleax BT014s to BT020 as I want more than 7,000km from the rear tyre.

I'm having a blast on it, and have put another 10,000km on the clock of this bike.

Hello,

JimBob in Idaho signing in for the first time.

Bought a 2005 GSF1200S in the blue & white this last fall,...really enjoying it. First oil change completed. Then,...purchased an exhaust, tinted windscreen, and tank bra. Nothing as radical as I see some of you have done to your rides. I probably will leave mine alone for the most part. I may do the stage one or two jetting,...and maybe not. As soon as I see how the bike runs here at 2800 feet with the new can on it,...then I'll know.

I have owned many bikes by now. Starting back in 1980,...

LTD305
GS850G
VF500F
CBR600F2
FZR1000
VFR800
FZR1000 R1
VTX1800C
ZRX1200
VTX1300
CBR954RR
and now,...GSF1200S (z) Bandit.

Just enjoy riding what fits my mood I guess.

Hope to meet you all soon enough and chat about life.

After a 30 year gap, I am back on two wheels, '01 600. Can't explain why it took so long as it is as much fun as it was back then. Here in the Peoples Republic of Portland in the great Pacific NorthWET, we have some great back roads to explore. I also commute daily. My scoot has seen rain, hail and snow, never was much of a fair weather rider. So far have only had one drop since I got the bike last June. That's right I dropped it, not the previous owner, curse of being vertically challenged. PC be damned, I'm short.
SPEED IS FINE, ACCURACY IS FINAL.
