Hi all, I actually posted a reply on the price of petrol a couple of weeks ago, and thought I should finally do a into. My name is Paul, I'm a late arrivel to the biking world I'm 38 Years young and only started riding bikes just over a year ago. I live in dunedin, New zealand. My brother in law to be is also a member (he got me into the bike scene, payback for me getting him into boats) goes by the the handle of amboman. in the last 12 months I have had a Suzuki GN 250 to learn on...did a local rally after 2weeks on the GN called the Brass Monkey (cold enough to freeze them off!!!!! snow ice and all) second bike is a Honda VTZ 250, which I still have.....but........ much to the miss's horror the Brother in law to be has sold me his 2005 bandit 1200 (had 3130 miles on the clock). Scared the sh.. out of me the first couple of times on it but have done aprox 1500 miles on it now and LOVE it.....

Hey Everyone.  My name is Jeff from Ontario Canada (Just East of Toronto) and I have been riding off and on from a little under 10 years.  Just recent picked up a slightly used (stock) 2005 650s - Red.  Already put 1200 KM's on it and haven't stopped smiling....

This site looks awesome.  Your guys really know your stuff.  I'm kind of a do it yourself'r.  If someone can explain it, I'll do it...  Looking forward to starting the mods.

Welcome, Jad!  Good to see another canuck join the board.  I have a red 2006 650 so we're pretty close.  Geographically, as well.  I'm just west of London.

Hello to everyone.  My name is Garrick and I just recently rejoined the world of motorcycling after 14 years when I purchased a red 96 Bandit 600S with a little over 13k miles.  My first bike was a Honda XL80 when I was a teenager and I moved up to a Nighthawk 450 when I turned 19.

I currently live near Nashville, TN and am looking to move the family back to East Tennessee where there are good motorcycle roads everywhere.

I would like to thank everyone here for putting together an invaluable resource.  I am looking to do all my own wrenching so I am sure I'll be looking here regularly.

The first couple of rides did feel wierd, especially getting home from the dealership.  However, after getting some miles behind me I am so glad I got back on a bike.  I'm also looking forward to getting into a MSF class just for a refresher.

Hi guys, I'm Marcos, from Sao Paulo/Brazil. My girl is a blue '02 Bandit 600 N. She is almost stock, except by the fender eliminator kit and by its happy owner.
I am glad to join you at the Alley.

Hi all,

Bought a bandit 400 recently, I live in Portsmouth and am taking full test (33bhp) on the 17th of May. Am quite happy to go on rideouts with anyone from the area, and I'm currently a member of Portsmouth Student Bikers.

:welcome: I take it from the "full test (33bhp)" part that you're from the original Portsmouth in the UK and not one of the ones in the USA.

Heya guys,
New rider checking in! Getting a '99 B6 tonight, from a friend who had to dump his bike to go back home overseas. I've been lurking for a while, but I can finally join the ranks!
'99 B6, 16k miles, a little used, but just needs some elbow grease and a little bit of cash for now. He let me have it for $1500, so I decided to jump on it. I'm really stoked, its my first bike. I've been trying to buy one for the past year(was looking for a SV650), got all my gear, took the MSF course, just didnt have anything to ride, until now.

I'm up in Ft. Collins, CO, and occasionally Colorado Springs. Any other CO members out there? Always good to know more people locally!

Im Kevin, 43 year old (today) big kid. Been riding since I was 6, raced MX till I got a drivers license, hit the road at 16 on 70 sportster. Owned various cruisers, shadows, nighthawk. Also own atv's and dirt bikes. Bandit is my first "sport" bike. I love it. Ill never ride other than a sport bike again, the light feel, the cornering, the high rpm power!

I live in Rex Georgia a place no one has ever heard of, its a southeast suburb of Atlanta.
