Congratulations -- great buy!  Maybe my favorite thing about the B12s (besides the sheer power) is how big a bargain they are as gently-used bikes.  Welcome aboard -- I'm amazed by how knowledgeable the people on here are.  Lots for me to learn!

I have a 2000 1200S
Live in the Houston, TX area
Use the Bandit as a daily rider to work
Thought I was the only Bandit rider in the whole area
Never see many of them
Good to know there are others out there that see these bikes for what they are: damn good machines
What a great site- will be visiting frequently.

Hi guys, I live in central Iowa, USA and recently bought a silver 2002 Bandit 1200 naked.  They don't seem very common in this area as this is only the third Bandit I've found for sale locally since last fall

I put about 500 miles on last week , great bike, very comfortable.  Over the years I've ridden a Honda CL175, CL450, BSA Lightning, and a Suzuki GS850.  The Bandit is the best yet, but will require relearning how to deal with a chain.  :grin:

I look forward to participating in this fine forum, I've been mostly lurking for about six months while shopping.

hi everyone, bought a K1 B12s 6 months ago, switched to riding as my only method of transport. Riding 2 1/2 years, no bike experience before that.
I've noticed some other aussies here, I'm in western sydney, say gday!

Hey guys.
My name is Ben and I purchased a 97' Bandit 600s about a month ago.

Got a good 500ish miles on it and low-sided in a turn after hitting pea-gravel (I curse you VDOT).  The bike is down for now but will soon be back better than ever.
It didn't take me long to realize that this was a great all-around bike.  Heres to good talk and good riding to come.    :beers:

Hi I'm Aubrey. Just bought a 2003 Bandit 1200s, this year, after a 15 year absence from motorcycling. Live in Nova Scotia , Canada. Like the twisty roads, and longer trips.
