I made a gel seat pad for my ride to AR. It worked very well and it cost about $20. Easy to make, Go to your local sport store or wal-mart, buy two bicycle gel pads. The kind that slip over the seat. You can get extra thick about one inch or regular about 1/2 inch thick. OK, take the stitching out of everything. You should have four pieces, the top which is like wet suit materal, the gel, the bottom which is black non-skid rubber and the black lace about 1/2in wide that holds the top and bottom together. Now that it is all apart take the two bottom pieces put on your seat to figure out the shape you want it. Mine turned out kinda like the shape of a heart. By now you`ll see, if you cut one side of each bottom( about a 1/4 of the material) sew the two straight pieces together. Then cut the gel and the top pieces to match the bottom. Sew it all together. I used the 1/2 wide lace from the side to join the two top pieces together. It took about 2 hours. I had a lady at work sew it. I can`t sew. I hope this helps. I`m much better at doing something then I am at explaining how to.
