WIndjammer pro 2 and respiro Foggy.

For everyone who wears a full faced helmet.

I have been using the Windjammer Pro 2 and respiro foggy for a couple of weeks now, and I have to say that these things are awesome.

If you don't like the rumble noise in your helmet this thing works not to mention the vents works better than without them.  I wear pass through earplug phones for my MP3 player and since I moved to the Windjammer I don't have to crank the music up, nor do I get irritated by wind buffeting while highway or highspeed running.

The respiro has completely eliminated the use of anitfog stuff.  You can still use them, but I have yet to.

I ride my bike everywhere, and the thing that got on my nerves the most was flipping up my visor to defog in the early mornings and in the evenings.  Also the noise got to me, even with ear plugs.... These things are great.

If you deside to get any of these then remove the nose clip if you have a big nose like I do.....the clip doesn't do any justice.

Also if you ride all year like I do, both of these REALLY help with all the stuff above, and it keeps your helmet warmer.

Almost off topic here...

Is your Bandit Red? I keep seeing a Red Bandit in the Boro area mostly on S. Lowery/Murfreesboro Road in the Sloan's area when I am headed to work. I live in Smyrna but work in the Murfreesboro. Most of the times I have seen the other Bandit I am in my car (needed for work sometimes) not on my B6.

The on topic part....

If you got either item locally I would like to know where. I have been thinking about getting something to help with the same darn problems.

Mine is black, and I also were a black and white Jacket...almost all the bandits I have seen here are either red or silver...

As far as the stuff I used before, I for the sound I just used earplugs, or the head phones that go into your ears....now I just use helmet speakers.... more confortable and I can ride with out the loud booming noise....As far as the respro....I discovered something....Velcro hurts when it is pulled across your face....I had to sew mine in because I got tired of it scratching the hell our of me....as far as what I used for the for the antifog...I tried everything...I have a brother that work at a hospital, and he gave me the stuff they use on the scopes and it didn't work either....here are the links...

http://www.respro.com/productindex.php  You need to look under masks, and select Foggy....they have another one called foggyx  Havent tried it...

http://www.proline-sports.co.uk/acatalog/UK_Wind_jammer_21.html  ANd this one is for the WIndjammer....there is another thing that is like this one called the NOJ quiet rider, but according to webbike world its doesn't work all that well because it doesn't fit all they way around the helmet...

Personally I love my windjammer and so does my roommate...I am using a HJC AC-12 and she wears a Shoei...Shoei's are already pretty quiet but she says that it has made the turbulance noise almost nothing...

http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/windjammer/helmet-wind-blocker.htm  Windjammer tests

NOJ tests.

There are no test for the respro...I just happend to come across it...but I will day that if you have a helmet that has a breath box duilt for it already, it would be better to go with that one...those are designed for riders who use the helmets for snow mobiles....HJC makes them specificly for the helmets, they just haven't made one for the AC-12 yet.

Got fed up with the same problem, so I ditched the beautiful but ineffective "S" fairing and installed a round headlight and a Silhouette 26" Plexifairing on the Bandit. What a difference! Before it was like having my head in a paint-shaker. That's all gone now, and kicked-up road crap no longer bounces off my face-shield. Now, if there was only a product available that would cut out the buffeting from 18-wheelers and SUV's ahead of me while going more than 85 . . .  miles per gallon was only reduced about 1 mpg.

I think J.C. Whitney still sells them for about $140 or so. The rectangular version isn't bad-looking, either.
