2000 GXF250V Valve Clearence specs?
« on: August 25, 2010, 12:27:53 PM »
Hey all!

This being my first post id love to say that i absolutely love it so far (have been reading as a guest until now).

Well my bikes a 2000 Suzuki GSF250V bandit, Black (with metallic specs). Bone stock besides changing the bar ends as it was layed down and that bent the standard bar end on 1 side and scratched the engine case... ANYWAY... its currently done 41k (not miles) and ive had it since 38k. I am wanting to do a valve clearance check as well as balance the carbs but the main problem is finding the right specs to set the valve clearances for intake and exhaust!

Now i've been searching for a while but haven't been able to come across the information i want or at least verified.

Ive noted two websites so far that have come close but im still a bit iffy if this will be correct for my model/year bandit.

Would anyone be able to help me out?

Thanks guys,
Dimi

Hi Dimi,
The figures from the site are from the bandit workshop book and are ok.
Would be good if you could post some pictures of the cams etc if/when you get it apart.
