Installing a center stand
« on: January 19, 2010, 08:14:50 PM »
So i got a center stand off ebay and it comes this weekend. They said they shipped everything  i need with it to install it. What should i look for? How do i install it. I figure its a bolt through the top then attach the spring right?

Big is taking its winter nap so i havent gone out to see where that all hooks to on the bike and i couldnt find a good pic of the spring attachment.

Two bolts, one of which the exhaust needs to be dropped to gain access to and a pair of springs that go to a nail-shaped stud on the frame.

Nope, exhaust has to come down to install the center stand.

Even with the little stub at the end of the headers (I have a Cobra slip on which replaces the midpipe), there is not enough clearance to install/remove that bolt. T

The other side is fine but the right side isn't.
