Bandit GSF400 Viton Carburetor Kits
« on: June 08, 2013, 04:02:22 PM »
Hi Guys!

I've been reading this forum like crazy for the past month.

Thanks to you guys, I now have a Bandit1200 rear shock and .95kg/mm SonicSprings in my forks with new seals.

Question:
Where is everyone getting their Viton Carburetor O-Ring Kits?

From this post, looks like  "Chris H" is one person supplying Viton kits.

Anyone else order from Chris?  I was wondering what else I'd need for a carb overhaul.  My floats and petcock were allowing fuel to dump into the cylinders.

I have fixed the petcock, but was worried about what parts of the floats need replacing.  I'll be taking the carbs apart when I source O-Rings.

Any other sources for the O-Ring kits besides ordering individual parts from McMasterCarr?

I found these sizes in this post

Emulsion tube: 10x1
Pilot air screw: 3x1
Floats:            5.5x1.5 and 7.5x1.5
Diaphram lid:    4x1

Check out www.theoringstore.com. I got Viton o-rings from them for pilot screws and emulsion tubes. Really fast shipping too.

Thanks!

I just e-mailed the folks at Litetek since I saw their kit was still "Coming Soon."
They e-mailed me back and let me know the GSF400 float seals are 4-5 weeks out, but they gave me a link to their current GSF400 products:

Is it necessary to replace the fuels seals and choke plunger dust seals?
