Wondering what tyres (rear) people are running and what mileage (km's) you are getting between tyre changes .........

My Bridgestone Battlax has done 15000 km and is totally stuffed. Costing AUD$220 for replacement tyre fitted and balanced.

Bridgestone Battlax rear lasts about 7,000 miles of thrashing, had about 1mm of tread left

Hey Raptor, be thankful you haven't got a B12.

I got 7000km out of a Metzler M1 on the rear, and that was pushing the safety barrier.

Ended up going with identical tyre to what was fitted, Bridgestone Battlax. All on and looking good. Gave me a chance to degrease a lot of small parts in the rear end so the colour highlights like the silver paint of the cush hub is again visible and also cleaned the inside of that nice aluminium swingarm.

A lot of earlier bikes (all makes) have really poxy skinny swingarms, on the last 250V's the nice box section swing arm really looks like its made right and in proportion to the rest of the back end components.
