If you need new coils, I have a spare set I'm selling (both pairs). Let me know!

If i was reccomending new coils id say get some from a 2006 bandit 650 so they are as new as possible.  Only slight annoying bit about them is only one bolt can be used on the frame to hold it on.

you should clean and tighten the coil connections they come loose i had a problem with this.

you have to remove the tank to replace the rear shock?  im doing mine soon and i cant be arsed with that like.

i thought if i put it on the centre stand and pulled the back wheel out id be able to get at it ok.
If you cant join them, beat them...

Sorted.
It was the carbs after all that. I sort of suspected it might be, but i was hoping it wasnt, due to that being tricky to fix. Anyway, its been to the garage and had its carbs stripped and cleaned/balanced a new rear tyre and an MOT ( A uk thing ) which has set me back nearly £250.... a bit of a bitch, but i spent nothing on it last year.
