F2 wheel
« on: June 19, 2012, 11:06:43 PM »
I was requested to post the F2 wheel conversion.
I shaved a few mm of the sprocket carrier and switched to 520 gearing.

I was planning on using F2 wheels for my B4. So was the F2 wheel just a little to wide. And was that all you had to do to get it to fit?

I think it was just machine the sprocket carrier a few mm to line up the sprockets.

This gives the option to run a 180 rear tire with the stock swingarm?

Check "turbofb" and his 12 pages of posts. His build is really good. He used a SV650 rear wheel. You will see it in a gsxr 400 swingarm in the end. But in the early year pics, I believe he has it mounted in the stock swingarm.
