« on: April 01, 2006, 09:20:21 AM »
hello,
i so in the Factory Pro web the CRB-S41-3.0 kit
will it fit porfect for my bike?!?!?..., i have a 1995 GSF400
i have emailed them bat no respond.

"CRB-S41-3.0
$129.95
Config 30 carb kit For the best top-end power (+6-10 True HP). Good low-end and midrange. Requires removal of stock airbox and running BMC 3092 or K&N or equivalent individual air filters. Otherwise, it is a drop-in kit. Low-end response is as good as, if not better than the 1.0 kit with the stock airbox.
Uses 54mm bellmouth air filters. "

thanks , idan.

Depends on what carb your bikes got? That kit was designed for use with a US model GSF400 which has a Mikuni BST32. You can still use the kit with Mikuni BST33, but its will take more tuning on your end. But with switching from airbox to pods is going to take a lot of tuning anyways.

Try giving FactoryPro a call.

It should work just fine, when I talked to them last summer they didn't even know there were different sized carbs on the bandit. As much as I hate dynojet they at least had a different kit for the bikes with the 33mm carbs.

The Factorypro kit for the bandit indicates it's designed for the US model bike only. However, I'm using a factory pro needles in my 33mm carb... it just took a bit of work on my end to get it all tuned right.

I've used both the dynojet kit and the factorypro kit and I'm much happier with the factorypro kit. The dynojet needles suffered damage quickly... and you can't just replace the needles. You have to re-purchase the entire kit.
